PARMESAN SAVOURY SNACK BISCUITS
Have you ever just felt like a snack, but wanted something that was savoury and not sweet? I think this happens to many of us, and there are many people nowadays who are not supposed to eat sugar laden foods.
These "biscuits" are one such food, which as well as being a snack, could be served as an entre, with pre-dinner drinks, or just nibbled on while watching television at night!
You can else serve them as a starter with vegetable sticks, and you will find that they keep for ages in the fridge.
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 3 minutes
Makes: 8-10 servings
Ingredients
Parmesan cheese
Method
Firstly you will need to grate the Parmesan cheese - I always like to buy Parmesan in block form and grate myself as this avoids chemicals which are put in to stop the cheese sticking together.
Next you place individual tablespoons of grated Parmesan on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Then press each circle down with your fingers to form a disc - easy!
Cook them in oven for about 2 minutes.
Then remove from oven and leave for 1 minute before removing with a slicer, and placing on paper towel.
When they are cool, these discs of Parmesan will harden to a salty, chewy crunchiness, and you may not be able to stop eating them till they are gone!
